Founded in 1989, Citizens Campaign Fund for the Environment is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) environmental organization providing sound scientific information and research to support prudent governmental policies and environmental practices and promoting environmental justice and environmental education to benefit residents of New York, Connecticut, and the Nation.
Featured Work
From creating a first-in-the-nation drug take-back program at supermarkets to building support for offshore wind in New York to reducing sewage pollution, CCFE is currently implementing some exciting and innovative projects.
Annual Gala
Each year, CCFE holds an Environmental Equinox Gala, where we join stakeholders, elected officials, businesses, and the public to celebrate a year's worth of victories and honor environmental leaders.
Our Sister Organization
CCFE is the research and education affiliate of Citizens Campaign for the Environment (CCE), an 80,000 member non-profit, non-partisan advocacy organization that works to protect public health and the natural environment.
